HELLO!
I have been working in the graphic design field for over 18 years. I have learned a lot working with clients, and I have made some really cool things. From book covers, movie posters  and album art to creating my own art print series about South Texas Legends. Using this knowledge I hope to inspire my students to make some amazing things.

 

The basics of Graphic Design, starting with color theory (color wheel, complimentary colors, etc.) then proceeding to the principles of graphic design (composition, layout, perspective, etc.). This will all culminate in the use of powerful desktop software to satisfy the challenges a graphic designer would face in a professional workplace

Video Game Design will allow students to explore one of the largest industries in the global marketplace and the new emerging careers it provides in the field of technology. Students will learn gaming, evolution of gaming, artistic aspects of perspective, design, animation, and programming logic. Students will participate in a simulation of a real video game design team while developing technical proficiency in constructing an original game design.
