Interested in summer or fall 2022 dual credit courses? Deadline to complete admission items is April 22nd.
Apply to Victoria College at www.GoApplyTexas.org and allow 3 - 5 days for processing:
Once on the GoApplyTexas homepage, log in or create a new account (if you do not already have one).
Write down your username and password for safe keeping.
Click on "Start/Edit Profile" > "Start/Edit Applications" > "Create a new 2 year college admissions application".
Select "Victoria College" from the drop down menu.
When a question appears asking if you are completing this application for dual credit purposes, click "yes".
If you miss this step, your application will not be classified as a dual credit student.
Semester of Entry:
For courses beginning in June/July, select > "Summer 2022"
For courses beginning in August, select > "Fall 2022"
Continue completing the application until it is fully complete then submit the application (6 pages total).
Complete Testing Requirements
Students are required to meet certain testing standards prior to enrollment (See Test Score Chart on the right side of this webpage, refer to the Dual Credit Guide or Career & College Coach).
We will accept TSI, PSAT/NMSQT, SAT, ACT and/ or STAAR scores. These scores can exempt you from having to take the TSI. NOTE: PSAT/NMSQT scores can only be used for dual credit admission purposes and cannot be used for traditional enrollment purposes. This is also true for certain STAAR scores.
TSI Assessment:
The test is computer-based, not-timed and scores are received immediately following completion of the assessment.

Victoria East is currently offering in-person TSI sessions while Victoria college is currently offering 1 option for remote testing for the TSI assessment as well as 1 option for in-person testing.
Option 1: Students can take the TSI assessment on the Victoria East campus during school hours and their first two attempts are free. To sign up, please click here.
Option 2: Remote testing through Examity, a secure online proctoring service. The assessment is offered at a cost of $12 plus a $25 proctoring fee. For more information, click here!
Option 3: Students can take the assessment at the Victoria College Testing Center, where the test is available up to four days a week (This availability does not include midterm and finals weeks). You can view TSI testing dates and times provided by VC as well as how sign-up for a testing date here. The assessment is offered at a cost of $12.
PSAT/NMSQT:
If you believe that your scores exempt you, log in to collegeboard.org to print out a copy of your scores. Scores will need to be turned in to the Career and College Center for processing.
SAT:
If you believe that your scores exempt you, log in to collegeboard.org to print out a copy of your scores. Scores will need to be turned in to the Career and College Center for processing.
ACT:
If you believe that your scores exempt you, log in to act.org to print out a copy of your scores. Scores will need to be turned in to the Career and College Center for processing.
STAAR:
If you believe your scores exempt you, request a copy of your transcript from the East Registrar Window (1st Floor A Hallway). Scores will need to be turned in to the Career and College Center for processing.
Attend a Dual Credit Information Session:
It is mandatory that the student and their parent/ guardian attend an orientation meeting to learn more about the Dual Credit Program. This meeting must be completed prior to the start date of the student's dual credit course(s).

Submit your Bacterial Meningitis Shot Record:
Please turn in a copy of your shot record, from your doctor or pharmacist, to the Career & College Center.
Submit your Optional FERPA form:
This form will need to be completed by the student, in person, with your Career & College Coach or with a Victoria College representative.
This form can be sent via email ONLY IF a scanned copy of the student's photo ID (Texas ID, Driver's License or School ID) is included with the submission.
The form must be completed in pen.
Contact your Career & College Coach to Discuss Potential Dual Credit Courses and Confirm your Classes, including what course subjects and the mode of instruction:
Students must confirm all courses and class times prior to the specified deadline.
Confirmation Deadline for Summer & Fall 2022:
Priority – February 28th
Final Deadline - April 22nd
Students that do not confirm their classes will not be registered for their course(s) and may lose VISD/VC scholarship eligibility.
