Last year the SSO (single sign-on) was implemented in gradebook. This allows parents to access their students STAAR scores without having the unique access code. Below are the steps:
Log into the VISD gradebook (Home Access Center)
Click on Grades icon
Click on Texas Test Scores
Click on the English or Spanish version
A new window will pop up and take the parents right into the Parent Portal through Cambium
The parent portal will be updated with this year's STAAR scores on June 7th (EOC) and June 14th (3-8).
