GENYOUth

Victoria East High School recently received a $2,000 grant from GENYOUth as part of the COVID-19 Emergency School Meal Delivery Fund. This funding is a direct result of the Taste of the NFL @ Home.

Since VISD is already providing free meals across the district, the awarded grant funds will be used to replace parts worn out on VEHS’ meal sealing machine used for take-home meals.

VISD submitted multiple applications for its schools across the district. Each application is reviewed separately on a rolling basis and the district will receive individual notices for each school that is approved for funding. VEHS is the only school that has been approved thus far.
