Victoria East High School’s track and field teams competed in the District 29-5A meet at Gregory-Portland on Wednesday, April 13.
Both the girls and boys placed in numerous events, qualifying for Area on Wednesday, April 20, in Rio Grande City, Texas.
The boy's team placed fourth overall, earning first in long jump, fourth in triple jump, second in high jump, third in the 4x100-meter relay, second in the 4x200-meter relay, fourth in the 100-meter dash, and fourth in the 200-meter dash.
The girl's team earned second place in the 4x200-meter relay, fourth in the 4x100-meter relay, and C’niaha Randle won first place in the 100-meter dash.
