🎅 Visits with Santa & Mrs. Claus, 🎁 Gifts for our most severe and profound students, 🎨 Activity stations tailored to fine motor and communication development, 📖 Holiday story time, 🍪 Cookies and punch with our amazing therapeutic staff,📸 Class pictures, a silent auction, craft bazaar, and more!
Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success. Winter Wonderland is a celebration of joy, inclusion, and community spirit, and we are so proud to host this magical experience for our students each year. This past weekend, our VEHS Journalism students had an unforgettable experience during their field trip to a women's basketball game at the University of Texas-San Antonio! 🚌✨
They toured the athletic building’s 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀, 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀, gaining hands-on insight into the world of media production. Courtside seats gave them a front-row view of the action, and they even listened in on the 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁 led by our very own Mr. Raphael! 🎧📡
The excitement didn’t stop there—one of our Titan TV correspondents got the chance to interview both the head coach and a player after the game. 🎤👏 This trip showcased how 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹, inspiring several students to consider careers in sports journalism.

Victoria East students take a Senior Walk down memory lane! Our soon-to-be graduates donned their caps and gowns and toured the feeder schools that led them to become Titans. May 14th saw elementary and junior high students and teachers line the halls and cheer on our seniors who are getting ready to walk the stage on May 25th. Thank you to all the wonderful staff members at East and our feeder school who helped make this Titan tradition a huge success!
The Texas Zoo presents Wild About Art, featuring art from Victoria East High School students from May 4th through 10th. The cost of admission is $10.50 for patrons ages 13 and up, and $9.50 for seniors. First Responders and Children under 12 years old get in free!
Victoria East Project Graduation’s Chick-fil-A Community Care Event Monday, April 29th

The fundraisers are different from the ones in the past. You MUST order on the Chick-fil-A app (MOBILE dine in, carry out, curbside, drive thru or delivery) and you MUST put in organization's code: EAST24.

VEHS Journalism students attended Interscholastic League Press Conference Spring Convention at the University of Texas in Austin. They learned from experts in photography, news publication, and journalism. The staff is excited to bring their ideas back to East and continue to grow the program. VEHS Hosts STAAR Boot Camps to prepare students for success. English I and II, Algebra, Biology and US History all provided targeted interventions to review key concepts and skills leading up to the big tests. Great job to all these Professional Learning Communities and the Instructional Coaches who helped make these camps possible. We're All In for success on the STAAR!
